We are a small non profit rescue located in Southern Florida. We accept owner surrendered hedgehogs and any hedgehogs in need in the Miami-Dade County and surrounding areas.

What we do
Miami Hedgehog Rescue provides a safe place for owner surrendered hedgehogs. We will take in any hedgehog in need of a home. They are rehabilitated, given medical care as necessary and then adopted out with carefully screened families. The hedgehogs that are not able to be adopted out due to health issues or temperament stay with us. We also aim to educate the public and families who already own hedgehogs on the proper care that these little guys need. They are exotic pets and need specific care to thrive.

Our Story
Our rescue started with one little hedgehog named Benji and quickly grew into a rescue to provide care to more hedgehogs that were in his situation.
